What's Singles in Motion™.com all about?

Singles in Motion™.com is all about providing solutions for the growing number of singles around the world. After searching the internet for days, we could only find a handful of single event planners and no central site for all singles events on a local level, let alone a national or international level. Thus, the star is born! We hope this site will tear you away from your computer and put you back into fun and enjoyable activities that guarantee new friends and new faces. If you are planning a trip, business or pleasure to Paris or anywhere else around the globe, we hope you will find a listing on this site where you can meet singles in that city! We hope you find the love of your life, but even if you find no more than a group of wonderful new friends in your local area, our efforts will be satisfied.

Behind the Singles in Motion™.com scenes.

I started Singles in Motion™.com as a one person operation, building a website with my limited skills, but all the while hoping single people would be benefited from the free posting and searching  formula. I've been on dating service websites for over 10 years and although I have met several people who have become good friends, I'm still single. It's not because I'm a geek or ugly or ill mannered. It's because I work from home, over the computer and don't meet people face-to-face. One day it dawned on me that if I truly want to develop a relationship with someone I need to put myself inside a place where single people are. Besides dances and bars where would that be? I started searching the internet and found a few sites, not in my city, who host singles activities for a fee between $60-$120 a month or more. I said to myself, that's a lot of money just to get the calendar. Then you have to pay for the events, if they aren't free. Besides it's a year contract in most cases and what if I leave the country for a few months - I'm still paying that monthly fee. I was already spending several bucks a month to be listed on dating service sites. This was getting expensive and produced few results. OK, there has to be a better way, I thought. If there was a sight where all activities for all singles for all places in the world were listed, I could find some things to do wherever I went. Well, no such site existed, at least none I could find. So, I decided, even if I didn't make a cent off this project, I would put forth the time and effort to help other singles in my boat find other singles in a similar boat. Thus, a star was born. I sure hope you will participate, find new friends, have fun doing activities you like with other singles who like those same activities and eventually, I really really hope you meet the love of your life.

Since Singles in Motion has limited volunteers, I've provided all our information on our website; so please look around, enjoy and find your dreams. After looking through the site if you have additional questions, please review our FAQ page. You may contact us, but with limited time and assistance it may take a while to respond.
