business. In many businesses, it's all about image and they simply
cannot allow one unconventional person to dim the years of work it
took to build their "appearance" of quality. The bottom line in
business is not based solely on the "internal character" of people;
the bottom line takes every aspect of marketing, image, product,
service, etc. into consideration in order to reach a profit. Fair or
not, this is reality.
The same goes for what you wear on your first date with someone
you've met over the internet.
 The
idea is to look your best given the environment or situation. If
you're meeting at a rodeo it's probably best not to wear high heels
and a short shirt. If you're going to an opera is best not to wear
rumpled clothing or trousers down to your hips. Of course this all
depends on the type of person you would like to end up with. If
you're looking for a starving drummer decorated to the hilt with
jewelry, you may want to dress in something skimpy and cheap
looking. If you're looking for a business woman with goals and
ambition, you might want to dress in clothes that become a
businessman. So, really, it's not about being up with the latest
fashion near as much as it is about dressing appropriately for what
you are trying to achieve.
 Clean,
pressed, and coordinated helps. Why? Again, it's the image you are
presenting that creates a first impression and a first impression is
just about all you have. If you don't present it right the first
time, you usually won't get the chance to try again.

clean and neat and ready to go. Being single doesn't mean being
lonely, but if you want to avoid being lonely you need to put on
