employed and able to afford the fee for our Rapid Romance Encounter
events. We find that there is a nice split between professionals and
blue collar participants and with our proprietary pre-matching

like you who would be willing to slice out some time to develop a

REFRESHMENTS INCLUDED OR IS THAT EXTRA?
Depending on where the event is held, it may or may not include some
refreshments. Events held at restaurants, clubs and establishments
where food is served and sold, you have the option of purchasing or
not purchasing refreshments, appetizers, and drinks. We do provide
appetizers where specified, but you'll need to purchase your own
beverage. Events held at
other venues such as hotel meeting space, convention facilities,
etc. water will be provided for all groups along with some form of
snack, as specified in the schedule of events. It is best to
plan to eat a full meal before or after the event. Some groups like to get
together afterward for dinner, drinks or dancing.

Since most venues sell drinks and we supply water in all events, we
ask that you do not bring any beverages to the event. If you'd like
to bring individually wrapped snacks for the group, the container

SAME PERSON TWICE?
Since many of the same people do return to our Rapid Romance
Encounter events, that's a legitimate concern. Since we are the only
speed dating event service that pre-matches every single person
before the event, which by the way, is ten times more time consuming
than having a form and letting the computer make a list of
registered people for every event, we KNOW you. We see your faces
with the photo you provide with your application. As we grow, it is
likely that our programmers will design a program to match people so
we don't duplicate the same people at events, but we still must go
through every single person's photo, otherwise it's not matching.
This is where the problem lies with online matchmaking services. You
take these long tests to match interests, hobbies and personality,
but no one seems to pay much attention to faces. Of course,
sometimes it just happens that 75% of the women are beautiful and
only 10% of the men aren't fat, or vice versa. We can't guarantee
you anything on the physical, but after the data match we do try to
put people side by side and see if we can find two people that look
great together. Then we put you into the same session. Does this
always work? No, absolutely not. We are limited by the registrations
we get and besides, we can't feel the chemistry. That's why Rapid
Romance Encounters are so important. It's all about the MAGIC!
So to answer the question, it is very unlikely that you'd meet the
same person again, but not impossible.

MINIMUM NUMBER OF
PEOPLE PER EVENT
Most of our events are 24 persons, 12 men, 12 women. Our minimum is
6 and 6 for any one event. In the odd event that registration does
not fill up, you will be transferred to the next available event in
your area and age range, based on your profile criteria. If that
event date does not coincide with your schedule you may ask for your
deposit to be held or returned. Some events are as large as 48
people (these are our 4 minute mini-dates series), but they are not
as requested as the 24, eight minute events.

WILL I DEFINITELY BE CONTACTED BY MY CHOSEN MATCHES?
Every RapidRate® scorecard is reviewed and entered within 24 hours
(except weekends). The person you selected will have your contact
information within 1-3 days of meeting you, IF he/she also selected
you on their RapidRate® scorecard. If the person you selected DID
NOT select you, they will not get your contact information. IF
someone selects you that you did not select on your RapidRate®
scorecard, they will not get your contact information. You will only
get contact information for matched RapidRate® scorecards; i.e.
he/she selected you AND you selected him/her. Once the contact
information has been emailed out, we do not follow up to make

CHECK ID TO VERIFY AGE?
Age
groupings are not set in stone. Register in the age group you
feel comfortable with. Some mature younger men like women 5-10
years older. Some older women who have maintained their youth,
fit in better with a younger age group. In this day and society,
age has little to do with attraction and relationships. With
this said, please don't join a group where you will feel
completely out of place. We do not police age, however, if we
feel you are completely out of place due to age or have complaints
on that issue, we will invite you to participate again only in a

YOU OFFER ALL AGE RANGES EVERY MONTH, OR DO I HAVE TO WAIT?
Yes. Unlike other similar service, we do not skip months for certain
age groups. Every age group will be offered two events or more per
month, per city. That way if one sells out, you don't have to wait
another entire month to attend. Most people like to attend at least
twice a month until they find their match.

No. We depend on a set count of male to female in order for the
event to be considered successful by all participants. Your
participation is essential. Even if you have looked at all the faces
and bodies and have determined none of them are for you, you may be
quite surprised at how differently you view one or two of them after
an exchange of conversation. Chemistry is not always about
appearance and skin-deep beauty. Relax, have fun and see what you

During the speed dating event and while on the grounds of our
facilities we set the rules, and the rule says no. Do people break
rules? Yes. However, there are those people who both
feel something and want to connect right away and there are those
men who don't get the rejection vibes and want to go after a woman
who isn't interested. And vice versa. This makes people
uncomfortable. People attend our events to 1. Meet someone they are
interested in and 2. To have a fun time. If you approach someone who
isn't interested in you and waste their precious time, it is likely
to spoil that persons experience. Therefore, please DO NOT approach
anyone either before or after the event who seems way too far out of
your league or is obviously not interested in you. Unless the other
person is looking your away A LOT and smiling, he/she is probably
not interested in spending time with you rather than spending time
with someone who interests them. You will find the ONE who wants you
and how much better that will feel. Keep smiling and using common
sense. This dating thing is a numbers game and we've leveled the

YOUR REFUND POLICY IF I GET SICK, CAR BREAKS DOWN, ETC.?
All our events are based on pre-registration and pre-payments. We
are working on a small margin of profit and without "numbers" of
people this service couldn't be available. Our promotional dollars,
salaries, facility costs and other related costs are already
expended long before the event takes place. Additionally, no shows
and cancellations play havoc with our organizational system and may
cause us to have to provide free events for others. Knowing that,
can you understand why we cannot refund any money nor offer a free
future event to anyone who cancels or doesn't show up? Thank you for

for the eight minute sessions. For those who prefer shorter

four minute sessions you may meet up to 24 of the opposite sex.
Since we mainly focus on the eight minute encounters, you may wait

That would be a first. But, yes, if only one person registers for an
event and that event is subsequently cancelled a refund is your

HOW MUCH
TIME DO I HAVE TO SPEND AT EACH SESSION?
The first fifteen minutes is instructions, hand outs and
introductions. The next hour and a half is mini-dating. The last
fifteen minutes is finishing the questionnaire and mingling. You can
mingle in the lobby after these two hours. Sessions are generally
two hours maximum.

OUT MY BUSINESS CARDS TO PEOPLE I LIKE?
In order to avoid rejection and discomfort, please refrain from
passing out your business cards during our session. Although we
cannot control what you do in the lobby after the event, please be
considerate of others privacy. Unless someone is giving you obvious
signals of interest, it is better to wait to find out if they
checked "yes" on their scorecard. It won't help to push yourself on
someone who isn't interested. Those who tend to do this, tend not to
be invited back.

WHAT IF I
CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING TO SAY?
The best thing to do is memorize three or four creative questions
before coming to the event. If those don't carry you through, you
can ask your counterpart if he/she would like to ask you any other
questions. You can also refer to the list of suggested questions
given to you during registration. If all else fails, smile and say
what's on your mind - within proper limits.

OTHER PERSON DOESN'T ACT LIKE HE/SHE LIKES ME?
It's best if everyone is friendly and treats each participant with
respect, however every once in a while you get some dodo who has no
etiquette and rolls the eyes or looks over your shoulder out the
window. This happens, but it's OK. You don't want someone who
doesn't want you. Don't take it personally. It's not about you, it's
about hormones and chemicals matching or clashing. Don't take it
personally and try to be that much kinder to the person YOU are not
interested in.

DO I HAVE
TO TALK FOR 8 FULL MINUTES TO EACH PERSON?
Would you prefer singing to them for eight full minutes? Yes, we
give you eight full minutes because a lot of people get so flustered
when they know the clock is ticking down from three minutes they
never get past the introduction. Eight minutes is a good amount of
time to get past the nerves and relax enough to be able to carry on
a decent conversation. If you just hate the eight minute length, try

SHOULD I
MAKE THE FIRST CONTACT?
In today's world, it shouldn't matter who contacts who first, the
man or the woman. However, traditionally, the man does the chasing
so if you feel the man you like is a bit traditional, then give him
a few days before calling him. Generally, men like a conquest. Even
if they like you, they still enjoy a bit of a chase. What's a few
days? Torture? So, give him a call and invite him to have a picnic
inside a volcano. That should peak his interest!

IS THERE A
LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF EVENTS I CAN ATTEND?
A lifetime package has a limit of 24 sessions per year each year for
five years. If you want to increase that, you can either buy
additional sessions or another lifetime package which would allow
you to attend 48 session per year each year for five years. Other
than the lifetime package, there are no limits to the numbers of
events you can attend. However, since these are private events, we
can invite anyone to leave at anytime should behavior become an
issue.

TO GET TO THE EVENT EARLY?
Yes. You can come as much as thirty minutes in advance, but we
insist on fifteen. We begin on time. If you are late you will miss
the instructions and introductions. If you are early you will have
time to relax, to chat with other early birds, to buy a drink or
order an appetizer, where applicable. Be early and expand your odds

Not unless they are another paid participant. We schedule room
capacity from our registrations. Do NOT brings any additional people
to the event or they will be waiting for two hours outside or, best
case scenario, in the bar next door!

Yes. We don't regulate age if you select random placement and
specify your dates, however be aware that you don't want to look
foolish. If you are fifty, but are toned and tanned and looking
forty, great, go for it. But, if you're fifty, fifty pounds
overweight, in less than perfect health, be realistic. You may think
younger women are prettier, but guess what, you need to be the
person you want to meet. There are ways to look younger than your
age. There are ways to feel younger than your age. There are ways to
be healthier than your age group. If you want someone younger, set
yourself up for success by being the person you want to meet.
Nothing worth while is free. You can do it if you really want to do
it, but if you don't really want to do it, then settle for someone
more suitable to who you are now. There is glory is accepting

Not at this time. Our scheduled events are strictly for
heterosexuals. Why? Because we don't have the personnel to expand
our business to cover additional categories. That is why we don't do
specific events for different religious groups, sport groups like
golfers, political parties, etc. Each specialized category takes
knowledge and we believe in staying with what we are familiar with

Minimum Turnout Guarantee
Knowing how important numbers are to a speed dating event and more
importantly, your success and enjoyment, we make every effort to
pre-fill each event. This is one reason we don't accept payments
at-the-door. In the case that one of our pre-scheduled speed dating
events has someone who doesn't show up or cancels due to a medical
emergency, bad weather, etc. we don't expect our reliable customers
to suffer so we provide this assurance that you will be satisfied.
If a Rapid Romance Encounters® event ever has five or fewer pairs or
five or fewer of one gender, you will receive onsite a certificate
good for a free future Rapid Romance Encounters® event of your
