SUGGESTIONS FOR A GOOD EXPERIENCE
Come 15 Minutes Early & Be Ready to Have Fun!

1.Appearance. Dress is professional casual, but remember, the first impression means a lot. If you want to meet someone who wears ironed clothes iron yours. If you want someone who has good breath, make sure you don't eat garlic the day of the event. If you want someone with sparkling white teeth, have yours whitened before coming. In other words, you will attract what you illustrate and nothing more. If you want a kind hearted person you must be a kind hearted person. What you give out, comes back to you. Be the person you want to meet.

PS Women: Bright colors attract the eye. Men: Suits make any man look sharp. Wear a watch!

2.Smiling is contagious. Please bring your smile and leave your cameras/recording devices at home. All cell phones must be off during the entire session.

3. Remember, even if you don't "see" the love of your life when you walk in the door, you may be leaving with him/her just the same. Chemistry is not simply about visual beauty from a distance (which is the problem with internet dating and dances), it has to do with MAGIC.

4. Bring a pen for your questionnaire and RapidRate® scorecard. Each person is assigned a RapidRate® number to wear. You will be assigned a seat. Please take your assigned seat when you come in. Once we begin, the women will stay at their assigned seat and the men will move from seat to seat.

5.Be prepared to spend two hours maximum if you are in a group of 24. Each session of 24 people takes about 2 hours with 15-20 mingle afterward. Groups of 48 (in 4 minute sessions) takes 2 hours as well. We do run sessions back-to-back and ask that you be courteous of our need to prepare for the next group. Mingle in the lobby or foyer for as long as you like!

6.Please be certain to complete your two-part questionnaire/RapidRate® scorecard before leaving.  The questionnaire has a RapidRate® scorecard section at the bottom where you can rate each mini-date as you go. One copy is for you to take with you, the other part is returned to us. That way you don't have to try to remember those you liked.

NOTE: Turn in your questionnaire to the host. If the persons corresponding to your YES's have checked YES for you, you both will receive an email with contact information. Then it's up to you to set that first enchanting date. If the other person did not specify you on the questionnaire, no contact information will be forth coming for that person. You will receive contact information for anyone who picked YOU. You will not receive contact information for those you picked who did not pick you.

7. Safety precautions. No individual is screened sufficiently for you to feel safe enough to get into a car with someone. Just because you met a person at our session means absolutely nothing about their credibility. DO NOT get into a car with anyone. Do NOT allow anyone to get into your car. Do NOT give out your contact information until you are 100% certain of your safety. Please see our self-protection page for further safety suggestions and our disclaimer.

8.During the session: Approach this opportunity with an open mind. Smile a lot to reduce any nervousness. We have found that after the first date all nervousness is abated. Your guard comes down and you relax, understanding everyone is in the same situation as you - they are all looking for that special someone. Take 15 seconds to stretch between dates. Don't worry about asking the right question. If you get stuck, look at the list of questions provided. If you don't like the person right off, be friendly anyway. Everyone has value. Ask them about their work, travel and hobbies. Maybe you can learn something in that eight minutes that you didn't know before. Keep in mind, someone you may not think of as a date could make a great business contact, but you must check yes to get their contact information. Make good use of your time and be happy. Each person you speak with brings you that much closer to the love of your life without the games of other "meeting" venues. It's simply a numbers game. After meeting twenty-four new hand-selected  people face-to-face, your chances for love multiplies sequentially. After only four sessions you will meet one-hundred new creme-de-la-creme people in your local area. That is tremendously exciting odds!  

9.Participants should vary questions so that people aren't spending the entire session repeating themselves. You will receive a list of suggested questions, but it's better to come prepared with a unique set of your own. Try for a little comedy and watch the smiles!

10.When you hear the buzzer, please stop talking within 10 seconds. If the conversation is flowing and exciting, be sure to check YES next to his/her number on your RapidRate® scorecard. NOTE: The question time of 8 minutes is split between the participants, ladies beginning. Men should begin asking questions four minutes into the conversation or as feels comfortable. A light buzz will remind you when the four minutes is up, but due to the noise and excitement in the room you may not hear it. Please bring your watch and keep an eye on it.
